Model Fame Graveyard

The first model who got me into models - Mat Gordon. Previously 3rd best male model in the world according to models.com, but now thirty something if he's even still up there.
To my surprise, I also found out that he is going on thirty and any hopes of a Mat G comeback are now fading away.
He was the face of Paco Rabanne 1 Million, the fragrance for men.
And then featured on Numero Homme's front cover.

Regardless of his fall from model fame, we should still appreciate his hotness and remember him. He was after all, AMAZING. Mat Gordon

The Ones 2 Watch

O2W is an excellent website to use when looking for all the new up and coming models. They send you out pictures of models from time to time, but most of the models are female and if male, not always that hot. One promising model was Piero as seen below:
Another rising star is Sadie Newman, who is a lot more popular than Piero Recchia. I was fortunate enough to meet her whilst doing work experience for FM Model Agency, and her profile is rising quickly. She currently features on the Burberry website, modelling the women's trench coats and found herself in the latest US Marie Claire. Here are a few pictures of her - definitely one to keep an eye on:

Model of the Season

More on the model of the YEAR – the unstoppable Sean O’Pry, who seems to be taking over the male modelling industry.

There’s just something about Sean that means we can’t get enough of him – is it his seeming arrogance? His gorgeous features? Who knows? All we do know, is that these days, it’s all Sean Sean Sean.

The model everyone seems to be talking about and seeing pictures of this season is the one, the ONLY SEAN O’PRY. Yes, he is beautiful, and has the face of an angel but there are disputes over whether his personality is really all that angelic.

Quite frankly, I’ve seen a youtube vid of him backstage at Zegna Fall 09’s runway and he seems like a pretty funny, normal guy – so lay off Sean! Let’s just appreciate his model talent. Congratulations to him on his new H&M campaign!

Sean O’Pry hails from Georgia, the beginning of his success starting with a huge Calvin Klein campaign in 2007, shortly followed by a spread in GQ. Something tells me, however that our favourite Sean has been fibbing about his height. Stood in the middle of a line of super hot and super successful models (Jamie Jewitt, Danny Schwarz, Vladmir Ivanov, Cesar Casier, and Tyler Riggs to name a few), he suddenly appeared short – very short. The question is, who cares? When you can model like that, I don’t think people in the industry mind much!

He is a very social model, and according to nymag.com, his fellow model friends span the following: Nick Snider, Jesper Lund, Vincent Lacrocq, Eddie Klint, Garrett Neff, Blaine Cook, Ryan Taylor, Tyler Riggs, and Rogier Bosschaart.
